Located in Gétigné, in the heart of the Nantes wine region, Domaine Jérôme Bretaudeau has become one of the leading names redefining Muscadet. Founded in 2001, the estate is dedicated to revealing the depth and character of Melon de Bourgogne through precise, terroir-driven winemaking.
The vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically, with careful attention to soil life and vineyard balance. Each parcel is vinified separately to highlight the unique identity of its granite, gabbro, schist, and sandy soils.
In the cellar, a minimal-intervention approach—native yeasts, extended lees aging, and thoughtful use of amphorae and barrels—brings texture, energy, and complexity to the wines. The result is a collection of vibrant, saline, and age-worthy Muscadets that combine freshness with remarkable depth.
